Author Guidelines

1.     Click "Create Account" or fill the login form if you already have account on ICEE website.

2.     Choose between "Register as Presenter" or "Register as Participant."

3.     Click "Abstract Submission" if you're willing to join as a presenter. ICEE 2024 prioritizes manuscripts based on original empirical research, emphasizing direct data collection and analysis.

4.     Fill the form and save your submission.

5.     Once your abstract is accepted, you may submit your full paper on your dashboard menu. 

6.     Every submitted article must have more than one author; single-author articles will not be accepted.

7.     Submitted to the conference should be accompanied by an abstract of not more than 150-200 words, The abstract describes problems, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. with the font size

8.     On the abstract, explicitly write in bold: Introduction, the objective of the papers, method, findings, and conclusion. 

9.     Below the abstract, about three to five keywords should appear together with the main body of the article with the font size 9.

10.  Articles should be written in English in 1 space, using Microsoft Word, font size 11 (subtitle) and font size 11 (description of the subtitle), Helvetica, top, left, bottom, and right margin 2.54 cm, printed in A4.

11.  For research-based articles, the outline used is the introduction (without heading or subheading), method, findings, and discussion, conclusion, acknowledgment, and references.

12.  Title Capitalize Each Word, Helvetica 14, Bold, Justify Alignment

13.  The introduction should be presented in the form of paragraphs, not pointers.

14.  The method section describes the methods/designs/procedures used in the study. Equipped with exposure to the research site in general, and research subjects in detail.

15.  The result and discussion section consist of a description of the results of the data analysis to answer the research question(s) and their meanings are seen from current theories and references of the area addressed.

16.  The conclusion section consists of the summary, restatement of the main findings.

17.  Use only horizontal lines when using tables. Put the table number and the title of the table on top of it.

18.  Every source cited in the body of the article should appear in the reference, and all sources appearing in the reference should be cited in the body of the article.

19.  The sources cited should at least 80% come from those published in the last 10 years. The sources cited are primary sources in the form of journal articles, books, and research reports, including theses and dissertations.

20.  Citation is done using a bracket (last name and year of publication). When the sources are cited verbatim, the page number is included.

21.  Proofs will be provided to the author for revisions and must be returned to icee.upi.edu by the specified deadline.

22.  Articles are written in English.

23.  Articles must be free from plagiarism and have not been published. The article's similarity criterion is not more than 20%. Each author must attach the plagiarism check results of the article. Plagiarism checks can use Turnitin or the others.

24.  The deadline for submitting proof of plagiarism-free and video presentation is 21th October 2024

25.  Quotation and references follow APA style and the latter should be included at the end of the article in the following examples:
